Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. had promised to show us new gameplay before the release of ‘ Hogwarts Legacy ‘ and they just kept their promise. In this new reproduction of the role-playing and action game, we delve into the open world, the combat possibilities, and the customization in the room of requirements.
We are facing a gameplay of more than 30 minutes that allows us to take a look at the different parts of the game that will officially arrive on computers and video game consoles on February 10. As we have said, it is a title based on the Harry Potter universe, although not on JK Rowling’s novels.
The game promises us to immerse ourselves in a magical story
In the first part, we see in the new images of the game how a Hogwarts student gets on his broom to explore the open world. After a walk, the young man lands in a village where he meets different witches and warlocks, with the possibility of participating in missions and riding an onyx hippogriff.
The second part of the gameplay focuses on combat. It gives us a closer look at the Dark Arts cosmetic set, Thestral mount, and the combat arena. The player faces an opponent who tries to reduce with an Avada Kedavra spell that drastically reduces his life bar and manages to prevail in the game.
In the final part of playing the game, the young man enters the room of requirements. ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ promises a highly customizable space. The entire space can be transformed and the architecture of the place can change as the player summons items from Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade.
We have also seen how the player visits a nursery where he meets animals such as a Grabhorn, a niffler, a kneazle, and a mooncalf. If you take care of them and feed them, you receive rewards that allow you to customize and improve your equipment. There is also a chest to play with animals.’Hogwarts Legacy’, which should have arrived in 2021, was delayed several times. Now, if all goes according to plan, we could see the game released on February 10, 2022. It will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
